Casa.b Mogador
What would you like today? Coffee, tea, juice? Croissant, sandwich, muesli? When it comes to choosing breakfast, we have a number of options. And we always hear how important it is to eat a proper breakfast. Is that really true? Is breakfast the most important meal of the day? At Casa.b, there is no way around breakfast. And that's a good thing, because here a good day begins not only with many delicacies but also with family hospitality.
At Casa.b, a modern bed & breakfast in the heart of Essaouria, we are treated to a fabulous breakfast every morning by Abdel and the charming Casa.b family. Freshly brewed coffee, Moroccan tea, wafer-thin crêpes, local flatbread, a fine selection of delicious jams and honey, fluffy omelette, freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurt with fruit salad and little cakes are served either on the stylish ground floor, in the sheltered courtyard or on the sun terrace. It's not just a treat for the palate, because wherever you sit, you can enjoy the wonderful ambience. Selected design classics meet meticulously assembled unique pieces, and a visible love of detail meets French-Moroccan sense of art. Modern, timeless and with plenty of character.
The 6 suites with their own bathrooms are just as lovingly and tastefully decorated. Each of them has its own individual touch, yet blends in with the natural, airy style of the house. We spend our 4 nights in the 32 m² "Chambre Songes". The floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of daylight, while the high, white-painted ceilings give the room additional grandeur. Here, too, local collector's items are combined with modern interior elements. And the direct access to the romantically planted terrace makes it doubly cosy.
The narrow staircase inside the house leads to the roof terrace with a panoramic view of the Atlantic, the blue-white walls and the narrow alleys of Essaouira. Here, comfortable beanbags and folding loungers invite you to sunbathe and relax. Just like the reception area with kitchen on the ground floor, the indoor living room on the 1st floor and the terrace with conservatory above, the roof terrace is also shared with the other guests. This makes Casa.b a convivial place, a place of gathering, conversation, laughter and togetherness. And a place with a great breakfast – for all its guests.
