magnets

The Duden says that magnets are pieces of iron or steel that have the property of attracting and adhering to iron, cobalt, and nickel. They are therefore bodies that can attract but also repel certain other bodies. In the same way that chocolate attracts some of us magnetically. Or nice pillows. Let's not even start with certain design classics.

Magnets always have a north and a south pole. These opposite poles attract each other, while the same poles always repel each other. And yet they belong together like Yin and Yang or like porcelain and elephants.

Magnets are found in nature just like that. Some rocks are magnetic, for example. Chocolate as mentioned also. And even our earth seems to be magnetic. It is surrounded – like all magnets – by a magnetic field. This is the range of action of a magnet – the range in which it attracts or repels other magnets or magnetic bodies. In addition, it not only has a geographic north and south pole, but also a magnetic one. It is therefore not surprising that many destinations also attract you magnetically. And in order to keep the attraction of the travelled destinations at home for a long time, magnets are really the best choice, aren't they?
